In this session, Miles Craven will demonstrate ideas and activities for using scripted conversations in the classroom. At first, it may seem rather old-fashioned, and even counter-productive, to ask students to simply 'read aloud' conversations that are provided for them. However, this webinar will look at how short and longer scripted conversations can be used to increase students' confidence, develop their skills, and promote interaction in the classroom. Used effectively, scripted conversations can offer an important and meaningful springboard on the road to genuine fluency
